Pasqua è uno dei periodi migliori per scoprire New York, ricca di attività in tutto quel lungo fine settimana. Le temperature sono gradevoli, quindi si moltiplicano le possibilità di vivere la Grande Mela anche all’aria aperta, dallo stupendo Central Park fino ad uno dei parchi più insoliti e spettacolari della città come l’High Line Park, tutto da scoprire.
Realizzato su una sezione sopraelevata di una ferrovia in disuso, lungo il percorso della High Line si incontrano le interessantissime zone di Chelsea e del Meatpacking District mentre dall’estremità nord si può raggiungere il nuovo quartiere di Hudson Yards con il Vessel, la struttura architettonica a nido d’ape inaugurata nel 2019 e costruita come parte del progetto di riqualificazione urbanistica dell’area.
La nostra scelta alberghiera è ideale: il Park Central è un’ottima struttura e base di partenza e arrivo perfetta per visitare Manhattan e i principali quartieri di NYC anche con i mezzi pubblici. Situato di fronte alla Carnegie Hall, questo raffinato hotel collocato in un edificio degli anni Venti è a letteralmente pochi passi dalla stazione della metropolitana più vicina, a una manciata di minuti da Central Park e dal celebre MoMA, il Museum of Modern Art. E poi, intorno, tutto il resto, dallo shopping agli appuntamenti teatrali e musicali che arricchiscono straordinariamente la scena della Big Apple!
Infine, è tener presente una informazione importante: a New York non si festeggia il lunedì di Pasquetta, né venerdì santo e in ogni caso musei e negozi rimangono aperti anche a Pasqua.
